Hillsborough County (Tampa) welcomes walk-ins and also offers a remote Zoom-appointment option for eligible applicants.

License fee $86, reduced to $61 for Florida residents with a premarital course certificate.
Waiting period 3 days for Florida residents (waivable with a premarital course); non-residents are exempt.
Documents / ID required Valid photo ID, Social Security number (or alien registration number), and basic information about any prior marriages.
License validity 60 days from the date of issuance (Florida statewide rule).
Where & how to apply Walk-ins are welcome at 800 Twiggs Street, Room 101, Tampa; appointments are available but not required. Eligible applicants can alternatively complete the process by Zoom appointment.
