License fee $81, reduced to $21 with a premarital education course certificate.
Waiting period 72 hours after issuance (Texas statewide rule), waivable with the premarital course.

License validity 90 days from the date of issuance (Texas statewide rule).
Where & how to apply You may submit an application online, but it is not required; both applicants must visit any of the six County Clerk locations in person within 3 days of an online submission.
Office hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. at all six locations.

Special notes

With six office locations, Denton County offers more choice of where to apply than most single-office counties.
